abstract
| - I'd like to propose a kind of term limit to sysops here at this wiki, similar to the ones in place at many Wikimedia and Wikia wikis. It will affect no admin who remains active and in good behavior, and it doesn't require admins to actively spearhead huge projects or anything. The limit proposed is merely an activity limit. I'm thinking something like: I think this would do much to ensure that the body of admins remains a vital and useful indicator of the wiki's leadership as it grows and changes. There's no shame in leaving and coming back for any period of time as a regular user, but the whole "adminship for life" thing doesn't really ring true to me. Thoughts? anyone can weigh in on this, I'm not only seeking admin input. 14:48, 16 January 2009 (UTC) Sounds like a good plan to me, I say go for it. --SignorSimon (talk/contribs/email) 15:38, 16 January 2009 (UTC) Sounds good to me, too. --Proudhug 16:11, 16 January 2009 (UTC) I'm happy you guys like it. I added an intro line, and "however" on the first sentence, but otherwise it's the same, and stuck it under the responsibilities listing where I think it belongs best. So the deadline for the awol admins to become active is January 30. 18:06, 16 January 2009 (UTC) I think it's a good idea to make a note on their Talk pages to let them know of the deadline. --Proudhug 19:14, 16 January 2009 (UTC) Absolutely. I got sidetracked by real life, I hate it when that happens. Posting now. 05:28, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
