Avenon (あべのん, Abenon) is a mysterious, loosely knit organization of the "spiritually aware and those of like nature"—quincy, fullbringers, rogue shinigami, and the like all make up this society of spiritually aware beings. Supposedly, they act as guardians in different parts of the living world where the Gotei 13 pays little mind to, slaying hollows. Recently, they made contact with Sannoto Nageki in New York City, claiming to know the truth about his absent father, Kai Nageki, and the key to unlocking his true power as a shinigami.
