Spies, infiltrators and assassins that had specialized in espionage and the art of gathering information, Savant Daemons were often tasked with retrieving Voidborn, acting as secret police for the Ring of Arch-Savants, and ceaselessly hunted for members of the heretical Void of Animus. Daemons had principally trained their abilities of stealth, both natural skills and in their powers of the Void, as opposed to direct combat. Daemons were the least numerous of the Savant Caste, and had seldom worn the trademark white armor or attire of the other Savants. Opting to blend in with their setting in order to achieve an unnoticed profile, most Daemons dressed as spacers, fringers, or whatever else suited their particular need. Most Savants did not utilize their iconic deathscythes, but instead used various sorts of blasters and common weapons. Elite Daemons were christened as Arch-Daemons.
