With the 2009-2010 NHL season came another opportunity. Hornqvist made the Nashville Predators' roster and made an impression early. He should be a full-time National Hockey League player this season, or, at the very latest, in 2010-2011. Hörnqvist projects as a shifty top-six forward able to produce offense for his National Hockey League team. He scored his first NHL goal on October 15, 2008 against Marty Turco of the Dallas Stars.
