The St. John's Jr. Caps are a junior team in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. They play in the St. John's Junior Hockey League. They are the namesake of the old St. John's Jr. Capitals who were the first ever Jr. A champions of Newfoundland in 1972. They started play in the 1993-94 season. They have won the Veitch Memorial Trophy (Newfoundland's junior championship) in 2002 and 2009. In both years they went on to the Don Johnson Cup winning the Atlantic Championship for the first time in 2009.
