First forged by a Karii -a folk of humans renown for their skills in battle, (usually) honorable behavior and a tendency to design their own weapons- smith, the Northstar has found a home in the orders of several sun- and star-worshipping cults and/or religions. The weapon consists of a short handle with a five-pronged star as a head. The prongs are evenly divided, so it looks like a pentagram on a stick. The star is positioned vertically on top of the shaft, although some horizontally aligned stars have been spotted as well. Two-handed versions are also available, these have a longer shaft (10 feet reach), a larger star, and the ability to do 1d8 damage (1d6 small, 1d10 large).
