Camor V was the homeworld of the Camorite civilization. Miranda Vigo, one of Jean-Luc Picard's past lovers, moved to Camor V. The only agricultural region was located on the southern continent, with relatively few people working here. There was also a small non-Camorite population here in 2370, for example eight Humans on the whole continent, including Jason Vigo. In the search for Jason, the planet was visited by the USS Enterprise-D that year. (TNG: "Bloodlines" ) "KAY-more" was the pronunciation for this planet's name from the script pronunciation guide. According to Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 47) and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), the Camor system was located in the Alpha Quadrant. The Star Trek Encyclopedia (4th ed., vol. 1, p. 114) classified Camor V as a M-class planet.
