The term Umbarean may refer to three different languages: 1. the ancient dialect of Um 2. the Westron-dialect of Umbar 3. the dialect of the Umbarean Haruze or Near-Haradrim. The ancient dialect of Um was believed to have been a southern dialact of the Sakalai or Daen-family while umbarean Westron was a descendant of Adûnaic with influences from the elder Um-dialect as well as Haruze from Near-Harad.The dialect of the Umbarean Haruze finally was a heavily accented Haruze.
