Rhum is a mini-beverage found in the Pirates of the Caribbean fandom. It makes one talk like Captain Jack Sparrow for a brief period of time. It featured rather heavily in the second PPC Playscripte (and it has been observed that trying to talk like Jack Sparrow when not actually having imbibed any rhum is very, very difficult).

* Déjà faut-il savoir que le rhum est fabriqué à partir d'un fruit très répandu en Italie : la banane de Guadeloupe (si si je vous assure). 2.
* Ensuite, on prend les fruits et on met du sucre dessus (les italiens sont des glandeurs...) 3.
* On attends 18 mois. 4.
* La fermentation du sucre et des bananes donnent une couleur verte... On garde uniquement le jus de la fermentation... Il est d'un blanc âcre, un peu collant, élastique... Ah non là je change de sujet ! Le jus est transparent voir un peu jaune 5.
* On met tout ça dans des bouteilles (les bouteilles étaient en peau de serpent fraiche avant, mais ça donnait mauvais gout... Ils l'ont remplacé par de la bibine séchée...) Vous comprenez grâce à ce résumé que le rhum c'est bon et c'est fort !

It featured rather heavily in the second PPC Playscripte (and it has been observed that trying to talk like Jack Sparrow when not actually having imbibed any rhum is very, very difficult). It is visually and presumably tastes the same as or extremely similar to common, garden-variety rum. Aside from making the imbiber talk like Captain Jack Sparrow, it does not carry the usual side effects of an alcoholic drink, such as a hangover. However, as it is alcoholic, it reacts violently with Bleep products and probably should not be mixed with any Stuffs, either.
