Sulerem of Mengal was a historian, scholar, and traveler, whose book "Histories of Genabackis" gave a detailed background about several races and peoples who lived in Genabackis through the ages. He wrote about several incidents and anecdotes of the Seguleh when they interacted with other peoples such as the ruler of Nathilog, the ruler of the rich and influential but far off city of Tulips. He also recorded the remarks of the council members of Darujhistan regarding the Seguleh and the Seguleh's reaction to them. This information was all the more precious because the histories of the Seguleh were a lost knowledge. He also wrote about the Jannids, an ambitious expansionist Genabackan dynasty.
