| - Axis and Allies - The Original Game World War III Scenario - by Matt Baker - Introduction The year is 2010. The USA is struggling economically but still has the largest military in the world. They turn to the newly formed United Arab Nations (UAN) and work out a deal where the US will provide military support in exchange for oil rights. The rest of the world is angered by the fact that the US is so powerful and continues to try and run world affairs. Russia (still a strong military power) allies with Japan (world economic leader) in hopes to counterbalance the US-UAN alliance. The European Community (EC) supports Russia and Japan in this regard. However, China hears reports that Russia and Japan are planning an attack on them so they turn to the US for help. The world is on the verge of another world war! It's USA/UAN/China -vs- EC/Russia-Japan. Special Rules All countries have the same worth except:

* Sweden, Ireland and Spain are all worth 2.
