Early-1992 EX370FMs featured a traditional neck joint with a metal plate. Starting in mid-1992 it has the sculpted All-access neck joint which does away with the metal plate. In 1993 US-spec EX370FMs got a new 24-fret neck. The EX370 is a similar model without the flame maple top. The EX3700 is a similar model with a maple fretboard. The EX370FM was discontinued after 1993 along with the rest of the EX line.
