The A-100 series was made up of the 4200 lb GVW A-100 and 5000 lb GVW A-102. To celebrate its 50th year as a motor vehicle manufacturer International produced a special Golden Jubilee Custom Pickup on the A-100 chassis. The Custom pickup bed was one of the first true wide-body (fenderless) pickup boxes. (The 1955 Chevrolet Cameo Carrier was a fiberglass covering over the fenders of the standard narrow box.) The Golden Jubilee sported a very attractive gold and white two-tone paint job.
