Cornelia Froboess, better known as Conny Froeboess, is a German actress and former teen idol. She recorded her first hit "Pack die Badehose ein" in 1951 at the age of eight and it has remained popular with German speakers. She is best known for representing her homeland in the 1962 Contest, finishing in sixth place. It went on to sell over one million copies and earned her a gold disc. She later moved into theatre and film acting and continues to act today.
