Nuurapi were a species of giant, carnivorous bird hailing from the Riverlands region of Vitea. They were about 25 metres long and stood on their hind legs. Whilst their enormous size prevented them from flying, Nuurapi still boasted large wings that they could use to kick up sand and dirt to disorientate prey, as well as to create additional thrust when charging at it. Nuurapi were white with brown wing and tail feathers, as well as some blue markings. They were known to compete with Carcharovendox, Rapatosarchus and Vractomorphs. In the Deeplands they were subject to predation by Wrages.

Nuurapi had hairs on their feet which could detect vibration, and they used this sense to locate prey and execute a precise strike. Nuurapi were known to prey on anything larger than 1 metre long. They were known to compete with Carcharovendox, Rapatosarchus and Vractomorphs. In the Deeplands they were subject to predation by Wrages.
