The Wraith known as Michael would make use of the initial work on the Hoffan drug to create a poison that was distributed to many Human worlds in the Pegasus galaxy in order to poison the various Wraith factions. This was a weapon designed to deplete the Wraith's numbers and had a 30% fatality rate on those Humans that were treated with it.
