He also provided the voice for Fido in Rooster Teeth's mini series, Nature Town, as well as had a minor voice role in Red vs. Blue. Marshall left Rooster Teeth in 2012 in order to pursue other projects. He later worked as a freelance director and cinematographer based in the greater Los Angeles area. In 2016, Marshall was rehired to continue working on productions at the company.
