Scott has also developed shows for several companies, including Disney, PBS, and Lionsgate. In the interactive realm Scott has written for SpongeBob Squarepants, Matchbox Cars, and The Muppets. Scott won a Writer's Guild Award for Imagination Movers, and an Emmy award for his work on Rugrats.

In 1995 he adopted the pen-name Scott Gray. Gray now edits the Marvel Collectors’ Edition line of magazines and has worked with artist Roger Langridge on the Marvel comic team the Fin Fang Four. Due to his extensive work in comics he has inspired his nephew Ryan and his close friend Ed Hills to be like him when they grow up.
