Hptm. (a.D.) Dr. Leah Schiffer-Hoffmann is a Hulstrian Hosian Democratic politician and former military officer, currently serving as the leader of the Hosianisch-Demokratisches Verbund. Leah Schiffer served as Chairwoman of the Imperial Diet's Transportation Committee for the 3432-3434 Imperial Diet after serving as a HDV backbencher from 3426 until 3432. Originally educated as an engineer at the Military College in Kien, Schiffer refused commission and joined the Septembrist Movement after the regime ordered the army to fire on the protestors. Following the restoration of democracy, Schiffer continued her studies and served for some time in the Engineering Battallions of the Hulstrian army, serving for some time in the colonies before returning to Hulstria and Gao-Soto and changing jobs

Leah Schiffer served as Chairwoman of the Imperial Diet's Transportation Committee for the 3432-3434 Imperial Diet after serving as a HDV backbencher from 3426 until 3432. Originally educated as an engineer at the Military College in Kien, Schiffer refused commission and joined the Septembrist Movement after the regime ordered the army to fire on the protestors. Following the restoration of democracy, Schiffer continued her studies and served for some time in the Engineering Battallions of the Hulstrian army, serving for some time in the colonies before returning to Hulstria and Gao-Soto and changing jobs to focus on her family, during which time she also sought and gained election to the Anderinch City Council, before being drafted to run for the Wahlkreis of Anderinch-Herzogwalt and winning election. Schiffer is seen to be somewhat more on the economically right-wing side of the party. In 3440, she beat Dieter Neustadt in the HDV leadership election to succeed Hosianne von Metten. In 3446, she led her party to a landslide victory, and was appointed Staatsministerin . 6 years later, her party suffered its worst election defeat ever, abruptly ending Schiffer's leadership. Eventually, Carine Schalle was elected to succeed her.
