  • The Superhero!Hype RPGs board is a place where fans of various different companies come together to play RPGs by post in relative harmony. Players apply for characters and come up with their own plots, but are encouraged to interact with the other players on the board. Recently this has been followed through with a number of Apocalypse/World Domination/Registration Act arcs, to varying degrees of success. Unlike boards such as DC Nation, the Basement (so identified because the RPGs are at the bottom of the boards...no other reason...) has a number of RPGs to play on from both DC and Marvel, as well as other continuites based upon the player's own universe. Each RPG is split into different seasons, which last more than a year in real time.
