| - General Jim Morris was watching the hatch of the unidentified spaceship. He searched for any evidence of it opening. He then watched as decom teams, clad in radiation suits, waded down into the crater and began fixing equipment to the craft. If the object turned out to be a threat, he'd drop a MOAB into the crater, if necessary. He even had nuclear missiles standing by, although he doubted he would use them. Even so, he'd had everyone on that side of town evacuate. He was prepared to do anything. Then he caught some movement in the main window. "Positions!" he hollered. The troops nervously returned to their positions, aiming all of their guns at the hatch. Every weapon in a mile long distance was pointed at the ship. He had made sure about that. At least 100 AH-64 Apache, RAH-66 comanches, Eurocopter AS565 Panthers, and UH-1 Iroqois were helicopters hovering over the site, plus thousands of aircraft flying overhead, like F-14 Tomcats, F-15 Eagles, F-16 Fighting Falcons, F-18 Hornets, Eurofighter Typhoons, and other planes that just kept coming. He had arranged the closest Air Force bases to stand by. He also had all types of forces in the United states Military, from Navy Seals to Airborne Divisions. Nothing, at least nothing normal, could go wrong. Suddenly, he heard a hissing sound and then steam came out. The hatch opened slowly, and he saw the shadows of two figures emerge from the steam. This whole thing reminded him of part of one of his favorite childhood novels, The War of the Worlds, where a disgusting creature emerged from such a similar capsule. He expected a horrible, tentacled creature to emerge. Something otherworldy. Something that he'd be forgiven for shooting down on the spot. He just hoped his men could hold their fire if it was friendly, no matter how ugly it was. He was completely wrong. As soon as the steam cleared, his jaw dropped, and he almost fainted. He saw two confused Humans, a man and a woman, looking out into the countryside and the surrounding army. They wore somewhat futuristic clothes, but everything looked exactly as it should have. Eyes, ears, a nose and a mouth. It all looked perfectly normal. All the men in the crater slightly lowered their weapons. Then he saw a creature much taller than them appear with them, who was covered in brown hair. It was strange to see, but somehow vaguely familiar. "Whaaa...?" "You're from outer space?!" yelled Jackson at the top of his lungs. "Actually, I'm from Corellia myself. But yes, I guess I'm from outer space." said Jak. "You're an alien," said Jackson, backing away."You're disguised as a Human, like those people from 3rd Rock! I never liked that show anyway." "Now, I can assure you that I am completely Human." Jackson stood up straight. "OK. I believe you. Just don't try anything funny." "I'll try not to." grinned Jak. "So can I use your holonet, or what? "It's internet, and yes." When Jak shook the mouse, the computer "woke up" as Jackson called it, and the screen turned from black to regular, and the same logo he had seen on the television screen appeared 'Star Wars'. He read the description of it all and his eyes became bigger and bigger.. "You know the future?!" cried Jak. He fell back in his chair, and was left unconscious. When he woke up, he immediately reached for his holo tranceiver and pulled it out. The two people who were on there before appeared. "Jak, there you are. We've been trying to contact you. We've shown ourselves to the locals now, and some don't look very friendly. Xerto's going out to talk with them. What are you doing out there? We have probe droids out anyway. Just get to the nearest holonet transiever and get contact to Hoth" said the tall male, who Jak called "Chall". "Chall, um, I think we have a problem...."
