I have an idea for each of the books' cliffnotes pages. I was browsing through them, and I often use the cliffnotes as references when I want to find a certain section/event in a book, but when I don't know in which chapter that section belongs in. So, I think it would be easier to use those cliffnotes in that way if we could add the page number to each chapter, so, if somebody wants to refer to a section in a chapter, it would be easier to search for the chapter by page number instead of browsing through the book. Would say this if my idea passes: Chapter NUMBER, Pages NUMBER-NUMBER

  • I have an idea for each of the books' cliffnotes pages. So, pretty much, I think that adding page numbers would be an advantage for others when browsing through a book (well, at least, I think so). Comments, thoughts, and ideas? 16:32, March 25, 2012 (UTC) I just think it'd be a little harder if the events happen over a few pages, but I guess it would be doable. 21:37, March 25, 2012 (UTC) I meant to add the page number of only the begining of each chapter, not a page number for each event. Sorry, I explained that wrong earlier.^^ xS 21:49, March 25, 2012 (UTC) Actually, that suggestion isn't half bad...I think we should try it. 22:43, March 25, 2012 (UTC) Oh, you mean sort of what we've done for the graphic novels? We have something like that already in place for those books without chapters. It's an excellent idea, me thinks. Hmm, it's fine by me, and could actually prove very useful. I dunno about you, but I'm getting tired of shuffling through the book just to find a chapter. xD 23:45, March 25, 2012 (UTC) Yes, like the graphic novels. So, the headings that currently say this: Chapter NUMBER Would say this if my idea passes: Chapter NUMBER, Pages NUMBER-NUMBER Or, it could say the page number of the begining of the chapter, but I think a easier idea would be like the one above. ^^ Yeah, same, I'm tired of browsing through books to find a chapter. Finding a chapter by page number would be easier for me, and, I assume, others too. 23:50, March 25, 2012 (UTC) I would like to have the pages of the chapter since it's easier in general. Even in other projects though even though this is only in PB, but in PC, if you know somethingblah appeared in chapter 6. Instead of digging through your book to find chapter 6, you can look on the cliffnotes and you instantly know where to look. I think it'd be a good idea. 00:50, March 25, 2012 (UTC) Agreeing with the above. It will prove useful. If someone finds something useful to put in the cliffnotes, instead of digging in to find the chapter, you already have the pg numbers on the cliffnotes already. I think it should be set out how Stoney said. 03:25, 26, 03, 2012 I like the idea....As DJCandyBud said above, it would be really useful. 15:30, April 8, 2012 (UTC) Yeah I definitely agree with this. It'd be really useful, I know it'd help me a lot to have the pages as well as the chapters. 02:20, April 16, 2012 (UTC) So, shall we put this idea into action? Opinions? 23:53, April 21, 2012 (UTC) Go for it, Stoneh. I'm perfectly okay with this plan being put into motion. I'll help out where I can with adding page numbers.
