abstract	Tiaan Liise-Mar was an exceptionally talented artisan at the manufactory near Tiksi in the later years of the Lyrinx War. It was Tiaan who discovered the mysterious ampliment and succeeded in bonding to it. This amplified her talents for the dangerous Art of geomancy, that she discovered after the ampliment. Minis the Aachim succeeded in contacting Tiaan from Aachan and convinced her to help the Aachim people venture to Santhenar. After succeeding in doing this and feeling betrayed by the Aachim who numbered far greater than she had been told and accidently killed her adopted sister Haani, Tiaan met Matah Malien and with her redsicovered the secret of flight. She was instrumental in winning the war against the lyrinx, though she would later aid them in escaping to Tallallame, having come to consider them a noble species, who did not deserve to be annihilated. She was also responsible for the destruction of the nodes and went into hiding shortly after, so as to escape the wrath of the God-Emperor. She was imprisoned briefly by Jal-Nish, though he released her due to her having destroyed the nodes, and later aided in the final battle against him.
