The USS Yoruba (NCC-1865) was a Federation Ashanti-class heavy frigate starship in service to Starfleet in the late 23rd century. In 2271, the Yoruba was responsible for destroying the Corvallus pirate ring. She was later assigned to patrol the Klingon frontier between 2273 and 2277, where she was involved in several inconclusive skirmishes with the IKS QaH'ta, until one final battle in 2277 which saw the Yoruba destroy the QaH'ta.
