Though it has limited shots compared to standard military weapons, the KM-Cavalier houses a compact battery and targeting computer within its handle. Its targeting computer can be linked to a smart bullet capable of changing coarse, transforming into shrapnel, exploding, and piercing through medium armor and plasma shields. This makes even the most unskilled of amateurs a crack shot (XCOM 2: Shadowkeeper). All it boils down to is how fast the wielder can fire at their intended target. Due to the nature of most Terran battlefield requirements, the pistol would rarely if ever see any action on the front-lines. This is largely because of swarming tactics of some threats and the expense of maintenance compared to standard equipment. * Can use multiple types of small ammunition * Can use smart bullets to achieve 100% accuracy and pierce through plasma shields * Effective at short to long ranges * Effective against light to medium armor * Low magazine capacity * Low rate of fire * Low melee damage * Effectiveness decreases against heavily armored opponents
