abstract	The Bodyguard (Shielded Soldier) is a renamed and powered-up version of the W.Shielded Soldier, first appearing within Metal Slug Attack during the Extra Ops titled "Queen's Battle". Parts can currently be obtained through the Medal and the Rebel Army Event Cranks. This bodyguard is the strongest of the shielded soldiers, having much more health compared to the similar Shielded Soldier or Shielded Guerrilla. That, combined with his speed and ability to outright block attacks, makes him a great unit for stalling until stronger units can be sent out. Even in the late-game, his evade and special (each of which render him invulnerable) continue to make him viable. The most effective way to counter this Shielded Soldier is with stun, which disables his ability to block. As his low AP cost means he'll come out very early, units like the Mini Caterpillar or the Professor are suggested. When placed in a deck with the Bodyguard Rifleman, Bodyguard Infantry, and Beatriz, they form the "Queens Battle" team, reducing their AP costs by 20%.
