One of his aides at the time was Eli Castien. (Star Trek: Pendragon: "Restoration") That same year, Savin became heavily involved in the peace process in the Demilitarized Zone, and worked closely with the crew of the USS Pendragon. He also negotiated with Michael Eddington and Akellen Macet.
