  • Clarissa is shown to be thriving as the new Viridian Gym Leader, Jax is training himself and his Pokémon, Katrina is living in the Distortion World, and Mason is learning about Mega Evolution... what could go wrong? Sure the quartet isn't very close anymore and live far apart but they can manage it, right? Benji ponders this until Giovanni is revealed to still be alive and has used the advantage of The Sparks being apart to conquer the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, and Kalos Leagues. After he is successful Giovanni commands Team Rocket to seize trainer's Pokémon. Successfully he captures many trainer's Pokémon but some defend their own, including the newly reunited Sparks. Jax and Clarissa realize that challenging Giovanni at the League is the only way to restore peace.
