(TOS novel: Web of the Romulans) Two years later (in late 2269), the Enterprise docked at the starbase following the incident in the Cherela system for badly-needed repairs and upgrades (including installation of a bridge intruder-defense system), as well as crew rotation (with Lieutenant M'Ress joining the starship, among others).
