| - Dean Albertson was a former founding member of the left-wing domestic terrorist group Gun Barrel Party from the 1970s who had gone into hiding. He was wanted for terrorist acts since the early 1970s, including a bombing at the Naval Base at San Diego that left three sailors dead, and while in hiding in a cabin in the woods, he also entered a relationship with a hermit woman named Ellen. Eventually, he became reacquainted with fellow GBP member Oliver Johnson (who was assumed to have been killed during a bombing gone awry that left three of his fellow members dead and was undergoing the alias of Roy Hale (alias)), who hoped to extend an invitation to reform the Gun Barrel Party under a new name. However, by this time, Dean Albertson was undergoing dementia and came at Oliver Johnson with a knife, resulting in his accidentally stabbing himself when Johnson tried to defend himself. Dean Albertson eventually stumbled around the forest before perishing. His last moments were caught on-camera by the TV documentary series Bigfoot Hunters when he stumbled on the filming, which eventually got the Office of Special Projects Team of NCIS involved due to the implications of the GBP experiencing a revival, including a manifesto being posted on the web around the time of his death.
