• Capitalism is the socio- economic political theory that industry, means of production and services are better run by private companies and wealthy individuals (Capitalists, also known as the Bourgeoisie by Marxists) as opposed to socialised economic systems favoured by leftists like socialists and communists. The ideology is the antithesis of communist and revolutionary theory; therefore the main opponent of the argument for communist progression. Capitalism in practice is a class structured society where the capitalists control the means of production and the state.
• Capitalism was an economic system based on ownership of the means of production by individuals competing on a free market. The Eighth Doctor was assumed to be a capitalist by several people in Spain. Fitz Kreiner branded Anji Kapoor a "capitalist pig" who was in turn surprised by how similar career communists and career capitalists were. While fighting in the Spanish Civil War, Bob Edwards used a megaphone to shout out lengthy political arguments about the capitalist system. (PROSE: History 101)
• Capitalism, not to be confused with cataplasm, is the notion that honey makes the world go round. Invented by a bumblebee, it is a philosophy that essentially states: Of primary concern is the use of capital letters in the correct places, though this particular bee was drunk when he wrote his manifesto. ~ Reader What, you never knew that? Get with the times man!
• Luckily, feminists and Communists are fighting to rid the world of Capitalism and revive the perfect system and they're failing miserably.

• The Templars created capitalism as a means to keep the working population in line and under their own tight control. The Templars Henry Ford and Ransom Eli Olds created the assembly line, and economist John Maynard Keynes created several new theories and forms of economics based on capitalism. Throughout the 20th century, the Templars made use of puppet regimes and rulers to spread capitalism throughout the world, with the ultimate goal being the eventual collapse of democracy, creating an ideal situation for the Templars to introduce a New World Order.
• Capitalism refers to an economic and social system in which the means of production are predominantly privately owned and operated, and in which investments, distribution, income, production and pricing of goods and services are determined through the operation of a market economy. It is usually considered to involve the right of individuals and groups of individuals acting as "legal persons" or corporations to trade capital goods, labor, land and money.
• Capitalismul este un sistem economic care se distinge prin proprietatea privată asupra factorilor de producție, precum și prin urmărirea profitului, în general pe o piață competitivă. Radu Vasile despre capitalism:
• Capitalism is an economic and/or political ideology. There are variations of the definition of capitalism (some of which may overlap and complement libertarianism), formulated both by adherents and by detractors, but on the whole, most capitalists favor minimal government intervention into the economic and political realms of society, the private ownership of the factors of production (land, labor and capital), individualism and the rule of law.
• The Bible tells us that Capitalism is the only true economic system endorsed by God, which is proven by the fact that the nicer your casket and your funeral is, the easier it is for you to get into Heaven. God and St. Peter appreciate souls who travel in style.
• The Capitalism's bonus addresses to nations lacking enough sources of oil to cover their expenses, with the bonus to the oil gather rate roughly equivalenting the income of three Oil Wells. The combat bonuses granted by the CEO are of a more defensive nature - offensive nations trying for a territory/conquest victory should consider picking the Capitalism's opposing ideology, the Socialism.

• Capitalism is often the result of poor money management and having to result to it, pretty much. When somebody feels they need to be selfish and not share anything with anybody, then they turn to capitalism, and they probably aren't Democrats, either. So capitalism is like when your parents are getting to where they only trust some people and so they are getting worried about their financial income and get scared that they will lose all their money.
• Satan often tries to undermine capitalism, but it never succeeds. Satanists want socialism implemented, which of course leads to the destruction of morality itself.
• Capitalism is a category of economic systems in which important decisions are motivated largely by capital accumulation by individuals and firms through voluntary exchange and wage labor. When capitalism achieves greater efficiency, it is largely a product of the information content carried by price signals, something largely missing in Soviet style planned economies.
• Capitalism is good for innovation, but when it is given full power, Capitalism breaks down the whole system through de-Centralization, de-Industrialization, and de-Regulation.
• Capitalism derives its roots from the Latin word "cap" meaning "hat", "Ital(y)" the location of the Roman Empire and "ism" a phonetic sound placed on the end of the word to highlight that it is just a craze and people will get over it to return to feudalism soon. It is an economic ideology, which centres around the ideas of compensation for injury (at home or at work), re-branding the same product to kill even more bacteria and spreading the ideas of freedom of speech, freedom to slave labour and merito-crazy.
• Capitalism may be narrowly defined as a category of economic systems in which important decisions are motivated largely by capital accumulation by individuals and firms through voluntary exchange and wage labor. David Harvey adopts a more encompassing definition of capitalism as a "social formation" in which "capital circulation and accumulation are hegemonic and dominant" in the "material, social and intelelctual bases of social life." (see p. 7 of Seventeen Contradictions)
• Most citizens and many non-citizens of first-world nations have benefitted from capitalism. Private companies fueled the industrial revolution and forced the technological explosion as scientists began understanding the practical uses of scientific knowledge. This led into conflict between open information and patents, which were designed to help companies or people keep all of the money their product made. It has been responsible for all modern electronic devices, as well as the modern internet servers, and supplies the world with everything from silverware to houses. Many people have risen out of poverty by starting businesses, and have grown to sell their products around the world. Their customers have been satisfied while they and their co-workers got rich. It has built most modern bui
• In common usage capitalism refers to an economic system where the means of production are privately owned and operated, and where the investment of capital, and production, distribution, income, and prices are determined not by government (as in a planned economy) but through the operation of a market where all decisions regarding transfer of money, goods (including capital goods), and services are voluntary. In capitalism, the means of production are generally operated for profit. For a survey of definitions, see Wikiquote.
• Within the Muppet universe, the treatment of capitalism is often contradictory. Capitalism and industrialization at the expense of the working class and the individual is a frequent motivation for antagonists in Muppet movies. Doc Hopper in The Muppet Movie is a key example. His desire to expand his chain by coercion and advertising overshadows and indeed ignores the fact that the means of production goes through frogs' limbs. Rachel Bitterman and her ruthless attempts to destroy The Muppet Theatre in It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie express the same concept, with the alternate-universe Bitterman Plaza even housing a Doc Hopper's French Fried Frog Legs. An earlier example can be found in the late 19th Century of The Muppet Christmas Carol. Ebenezer Scrooge, though not an industrial
• Capitalism was an economic and political system involving the private production and trade of goods and services, with minimal, if any, government intervention. On Earth, it was first articulated by the human political scientist Adam Smith, who had originally named the system "Laissez-faire", French for "let alone", for his assertion that the government had neither the right to determine the means of production and trade for a society, nor the ability to do so efficiently. This led to the alternative terms of "free market" and "free enterprise".
• Capitalism is an economic system in which the means of production are privately owned and operated for a private profit; decisions regarding supply, demand, price, distribution, and investments are made by private actors in the market rather than by central planning by the government; profit is distributed to owners who invest in businesses, and wages are paid to workers employed by businesses and companies. There is no consensus on the precise definition of capitalism, nor how the term should be used as an analytical category.[1] There is, however, little controversy that private ownership of the means of production, creation of goods or services for profit in a market, and prices and wages are elements of capitalism.[2] There are a variety of historical cases to which the designation is
• Capitalism is an economic and political philosophy championing free-markets, individual and corporate competition, and private control over the means of production. The historical period that lead up to the year 2160 had seen a massive expansion of capitalist dominance across colonial territories, space-based agencies and orbital facilities; a factor that contributed immensely to the upsurge of extremist military organizations on both ends of the political spectrum (left-wing Koslovics and right-wing Frieden), challenging age-old capitalist mentality and ultimately leading to the bloody Interplanetary War.
