Synopsis
  • Lex is still trying to revive Brainiac, but is unable to do so due to the small amount of Brainiac remaining. Tala casts a spell on the shard to prove that there is nothing left of Brainiac and convince Lex to stop obsessing over it, but is surprised to discover remnants of the villain floating in space, left from his battle with Darkseid. Luthor has the Legion's headquarters retrofitted into a spaceship and sets out to find it. However, Tala releases Grodd from his cage and the Legion suddenly finds itself divided between those who are loyal to Grodd and those who side with Lex. After an intense battle, Lex gains the upper hand and throws Grodd into deep space. Finding the debris from Brainiac and Darkseid's battle, he uses Tala as an energy converter to revive Brainiac. He is horrified to discover, however, that he has accidentally resurrected Darkseid instead. Darkseid rewards them with a quick demise, blowing up their ship, before returning to Apokolips and proclaiming war on Earth. On Earth, Lex and the Legion arrive at the Metro Tower and inform the Justice League that "We've got a problem."
