At the British Grand Prix, Airbus sponsoring disappeared from the car. At the Belgian Grand Prix the unique nose design was replaced with a traditional design. At the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, following a successful crowdfunding campaign, the CT05 was emblazened with a new set of sponsors to reflect the investments of supporters of the team. After the 2014 season, the team was given permission to use the car for the 2015 if they chose to do so. However, the Caterham team folded.
