| - Tomorrowland Terrace is a restaurant and live music and entertainment stage at Disneyland in Anaheim, California that opened in 1967 as part of the then-new Tomorrowland. The venue is noted for its bandshell stage, which hydraulically rises out of the ground at the beginning of a show, and descends back at the end. For 33 years, the restaurant and outdoor stage were known as the Tomorrowland Terrace, presented by Coca-Cola, until 2000, when Disneyland introduced a new show featuring Buzz Lightyear: Calling All Space Scouts, and the restaurant and stage were renamed Club Buzz. As part of the open-ended Star Wars-themed Season of the Force promotion, which began November 16, 2015, the Tomorrowland Terrace and its stage are currently operating as the Galactic Grill and the Galactic Grill Stage, respectively. Since then, entertainment offerings have been limited to the Jedi Training Academy stage show, with live music suspended indefinitely in October 2015, after 48 years. In March 2005, the show closed and the decorations were removed and the stage had some repainting. Ironically, the show closed only a few days after the new Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters attraction opened. In September 2006, the Club Buzz stage's sculpture and theming were removed, and was renamed back to Tomorrowland Terrace. The stage's design since then is highly reminiscent of its original 1967 space age incarnation, which was designed by Imagineer Rolly Crump, featuring retro-futuristic spires and planters. The newly-rechristened Tomorrowland Terrace was opened by ska band Suburban Legends on September 30, the last day of the Happiest Homecoming on Earth. The stage has featured many acts over the years, some even famous. During the daytime, it features the Star Wars Jedi Training Academy, a show in which young children from the audience are selected to become Jedi Padawans.
