Bertha McCoy was a character that appeared in the episode Fresh Prince, the Movie. She was a character featured in the phony story made up by Will and Carlton in order to hustle Jazz in poker which was about Will and the Banks family being relocated to Deliverance, Alabama after Will witnessed a mob hitman named O'Neill murder his boss back in Philadelphia. Bertha calms down a bear that was about to attack Will, Carlton and Uncle Phil and is immediately attracted to Will. Bertha's father, Hatfield accuses Will of getting her pregnant and plans to force them into a shotgun wedding the following day after their engagement party. It is presumed that Bertha was killed by O'Neill, along with the rest of the McCoy family, after he tracked Will down to Alabama.
