The Thunder Bluff Bombing was an unexpected attack on the capital of the tauren during which an unnamed and unmarked Forsaken erupted in a blast that killed six people (awaiting confirmation) and wounded countless more while the celebrated weekly event, the Storytelling Eve, was at its peak. The motive of the attack is unknown, though it is speculated that the supposed perpetrators, The Spine, conducted the terrorist act as a means of establishing their presence in the world, as a malicious force It is reported that posters were hung out in all major cities the following day, in which The Spine claims responsibility.

  • The Thunder Bluff Bombing was an unexpected attack on the capital of the tauren during which an unnamed and unmarked Forsaken erupted in a blast that killed six people (awaiting confirmation) and wounded countless more while the celebrated weekly event, the Storytelling Eve, was at its peak. The motive of the attack is unknown, though it is speculated that the supposed perpetrators, The Spine, conducted the terrorist act as a means of establishing their presence in the world, as a malicious force It is reported that posters were hung out in all major cities the following day, in which The Spine claims responsibility. The explosive device used, due to the scale of the blast, has been subject to some speculation. Molten chips of iron was found in some of the dead bodies, hinting at a crude making of the bomb, and yet it was largely smokeless, and caused no fires. This has led some people to wonder if there was a goblin involved in the process. This attack was the first, public appearance of the Spine (presuming they really were the attackers) since their disappearance during the Thandol Span Incident.
