| - Esabelle de Pourbaix began her political career as an Independent City Councillor in Palmyre. After five years on the City Council, de Pourbaix was elected Mayor at the age of 32. In the middle of her term as mayor, de Pourbaix resigned in order to form the Free Democrats of Baltusia. The party began as a fringe movement that soon caught the attention of other Councillors across the country. By the time she officially launched the party manifesto in January 3111, over 380 city councillors were members of the party and were standing for Parliament. In the 3112 elections, de Pourbaix was overwhelmingly elected President of Baltusia. She came in second on the first ballot but saw a huge surge of support towards her campaign on the second ballot. She also saw the party win 115 seats in Parliament. Initially, she struggled to find a coalition partner but soon began to work with the National Socialist Party. After four years as President, de Pourbaix was overwhelmingly defeated in her bid for reelection. Most attributed her loss due to her working coalition with the National Socialists. She saw 46% of her parliamentary caucus lose their seats. de Pourbaix came in fourth out of five candidates in the presidential election. Despite this, she was only 4% away from being in the runoff election. After her defeat, she helped elect James MacLeod of the Commonwealth Party as President. Following her presidency, de Pourbaix resigned from Parliament. de Pourbaix died shortly before her 58th birthday in a car crash. She sons Leon and Štefan perished as well. They were 32 and 26 years old respectively. João became a successful novelist and died in 3172 at the age of 67 while Dalia became Chancellor of the University of Saint Catharine's and died in 3189 at the age of 83. Olav lived quietly until his death in 3152 at the age of 78.
