Gary Bredin (Born - May 25, 1948 in Edmonton, Alberta) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey forward. He played junior hockey for the Edmonton Oil Kings and his rights belonged to the Detroit Red Wings. He turned pro in 1969 with the Fort Worth Wings for two seasons. In 1971 he was traded to the Vancouver Canucks with John Cunniff for Bob Dillabough and Irv Spencer. Bredin played 1971-72 for the Canucks' farm team the Rochester Americans. He played in 1972-73 for the Seattle Totems and 1973-74 returned to the Americans.

Bredin played in 144 games in the WHA with the Indianapolis Racers, Baltimore Blades, Michigan Stags, San Diego Mariners, Denver Spurs, and Ottawa Civics from 1974 to 1976. He scored 26 goals and 31 assists.
