- Matsu (松, Matsu, lit. "Pine") is a male Adept Rogue and the captain of Moon Tree's Seventh Division. He used to be a famous PK known as the "Flame Sword Demon" (赤鉄の鬼人, Aka Tetsu no Oni-jin, Red Iron Devil), before renouncing his ways and joining with Zelkova and Sakaki. - Matsu is a quite high-ranked minion of Hōgen. When John and Hiro escape their prison in Hōgen’s base, Matsu is held responsible. He is send out to bring back the prisoners, dead or alive. Matsu quickly finds the fugitives and the fight begins. Before Matsu manages to wound John, John bites off Matsu's ear. Matsu retreats to the back of his group and lets his minions fight John, Rossi, Lefty and Tommy alone. He then retreats to the back again, waiting for Hōgen to show up and finish off John. After John's death, he returns back to fort along with other minions.
- Matsu (まつ) is one of the women who lived in the village after she lost her husband and children. Mastu, along with the other women prayed at the temple of Kannon the of the Kannon Goddess. They were attacked by the Salamander Demon who woke up due to the demonic energy of Naraku. Later, she organized the women to lure men for skin to Salamander. When Wakana's husband Shinnosuke and Inuyasha's group came for looking her, Mastu said she didn't stay in the village until Sango discovered the women just vanished into the river and captured her by dragging into water. She forced Sango to swallow the Salamander's egg.
