- From the Finder, choose About This Mac from the Apple menu. You will see the version number. Click on it and you will see the build number. Click on it again and you will get the serial number of the Macintosh. For example: Mac OS X 10.1.5 -> Build 5S60a Mac OS X 10.0.0 through version 10.0.4, as well as the Mac OS X Public Beta, displayed the build number along with the version number in the About This Mac window.
- The Build Number is the number given to the RuneScape client. It can be seen in the bottom-right corner of the Developers Console. Every time RuneScape is updated the build number is increased by one. Players were not able to see the build number until the Developers Console was made available to everybody on 15 September 2010. The option to see it is removed on the NXT client, but it can be viewed by right clicking "rs2client" found in C:\ProgramData\Jagex\launcher and clicking on the details tab.
