They are alive Rainbow Monkey animatronics (simply, robots). Professor Snuggles and Mrs. Wubsy Tubsy find both boys and girls fascinating and cuddle-licious like all Rainbow Monkeys. They thought that boys are an endangered species, and General Hugs, the main antagonist of the episode, orders Numbuh 4 to be "hugged to death". The pair helped Numbuh 3 and Numbuh 4 try to get back to their own planet, but the rocket turns out to be nothing but an amusement-park attraction. Soon, in the end, it was revealed that all the Rainbow Monkeys were robot animatronics, and Numbuh 3 and Numbuh 4 were always on Earth all the time. Professor Snuggles & Mrs. Wubsy Tubsy also are revealed as robots.
