The Karazim, also tautologically the Karazim Mountains, are the mountains that stretch east to west across northern Odenna. They divide the North from the central regions. Karazim is Gretchen Dwarvish for 'mountains'. The Western Dwarvish (Khuzdagal) would be simply Karaz plural of kurz, but they are usually called Karazgabil 'The Great Mountains'. The mountains are inhabitated by dwarves throughout and at the east and west ends, the toughest dwarf kingdoms still stand. East of the western dwarf kingdom the minotaurs have holds in the mountains. Beyond that, Chambrey holds much of the land, though Elven Shoumay extends to the mountains as well. There are many dwarf ruins from kingdoms passed that can be found through the range, some of them harboring objects of great power.
