Neomixis or jeries, is a genus of passerines formerly placed in the Old World babbler family but now considered to belong to the Cisticolidae family. The genus comprises three small forest birds endemic to Madagascar. Another species the wedge-tailed jery (Hartertula flavoviridis) was until recently placed in this genus but recent biochemical studies suggest its true relationships lie elsewhere.
