You are betrothed to Elizabeta Scordata (Sam Strauss) with whom you are deeply in love. She is kind and innocent, much like yourself. You have little experience in the field of romance, but you know that women deserve kindness and courtesy. You've always treated Elizabeta with respect, and you certainly weren't expecting the kiss she gave you the day you promised to marry each other. Her parents had already promised her to you, but it was important for her that it be, on some level, your choice as well. You ARE in love with Elizabeta, but there is something else at play. You feel a kind of compulsion to marry her, as if it was something outside of your control. You think that you would not be able to not marry her, even if your father called off the engagement. Hopefully he'll look at them and see your talent. You don't know what you'll do if he denies your application again. You're a young, passionate man, and you are certain there is someone in the world who wants these designs.
