Joy Stewart (born 30th August, 1924) played four roles on Coronation Street: * Landlord's rent collector Mary Stubbs in February 1961 * Mrs Ball in August 1964 * Mark Brittain Warehouse worker Marian Mason in June and November 1971 * Freda Barry, who took over as landlady of The Flying Horse in July 1974. Her main connection with the programme though is her role as Miss Sinclair, the staff supervisor of Dobson and Hawkes in twenty-eight of the thirty seven episodes of Street spin-off Pardon the Expression in 1965 and 1966.
