| - Gatomon (in Japanese: テイルモン Tailmon) was both a former member of Myotismon's army who finally found her true destiny as one of the Digimon partners of the Digidestined and a character in Digimon Adventure 01. There have been other Digimon, like Peckmon, Wormon, and other Digimon villains that redeemed themselves, and joined the heroes.
- Gatomon (japanisch: Tailmon) sind katzenartige und recht kleine, Heilige Tierdigimon. Sie sind aber extrem schnell und wendig und stehen auch in Sachen Kraft den meisten anderen Champion-Digimon in nichts nach, allerdings nur mit dem Heiligen Ring um ihren Schwanz. Ohne ihn sind sie nur so stark, wie ein Rookie-Digimon und verlieren außerdem ihre Heiligkeit, wodurch sie vom rechten Weg abkommen könnten.
- Gatomon is an Animal Digimon whose names and design are derived from "Tail" and "Gato" (Esp: Cat (Felis catus)). It has a very healthy curiosity, so it loves pranks. Although its body is small, it is a precious Holy-species Digimon, and its appearance does not match the true strength it possesses. It wears a Holy Ring on its tail, but if it is lost, its power is decreased and it can no longer exhibit its original power. In order to defend itself, it wears long claws copied from SaberLeomon's data.

Später stellt sich Gatomon gegen Myotismon, weil sich ihr bester Freund Wizardmon sich für sie geopfert hat. So digitiert sich Gatomon zu Angewomon.Zusammen mit Angemon besiegten sie Myotismon. Gatomon ist das einzige Digimon der Digiritter, das dauerhaft im Level Champion bleibt, da es bei Myotismon sehr hart trainiert hat.

- Gatomon appears similar to a white Egyptian kitten, with large yellow and red striped gloves with black claws sticking out of it. The data for these gloves were copied from SaberLeomon. In the dub, she speaks in a soft, drawling voice. The Japanese version, however, has Gatomon in a much older voice to reflect her maturity as a Champion level Digimon. As Salamon, she acts more child-like, similar to a typical Rookie level Digimon, while as Gatomon she acts more like a teenager and as Angewomon she acts like an adult. However, in the Japanese version she behaves maturely even in her child level at times. This particular Gatomon also bears red X-shaped scars on her left paw under the yellow gloves from when Myotismon would beat her because he disliked her eyes. Her name, "Gatomon," comes fro
