Valek was eventually turned to the dark side during the Fourth Great Schism whilst attempting to master Juyo and went on to participate in the New Sith Wars as a member of the Brotherhood of Darkness. During these wars she mastered Juyo and became one of the most feared Sith combatants of the entire war, being essentially immortal. She was killed with the rest of the Sith when Lord Kaan detonated the thought bomb. Her spirit would remain trapped in the Valley of the Jedi for many more years, until Kyle Katarn destroyed the remains of the thought bomb.
