| - Type 5 Cyborg (also C5, C-5, CI-5, nicknamed "Organ" because of its gun) are one of the types of regular combat cyborgs mass-produced by Cyberia. A type of cyborg means a specific set of implants, and the type and specifications of these implants, while the organic bodies of the various individual cyborgs may be different from each other if the cyborgs are produced from human - or other natural organism's - bodies, because these can naturally vary greatly between individuals. Two workarounds exist - one could possibly select host bodies along tight specifications, or use cloned tissue. The Type 5 however is a cyborg type that has no restrictions applied to those that are turned into it by the Commonwealth. Evidence shows that this type is built from convicts in an underground facility in Eastern Capital. It is not known what other hosts are recruited for transformation, though the template is only applied to humans (or maybe humanoids). The Type 5 is not only fitted with replacement for some limbs or joints: the host is fitted with armor plates bolted to his body, and his arms are replaced with miniguns. The neural system is also affected, turning the host into a mindless drone that is controlled - wether by RC or voice command is not known - by Cyberian commanders. Type 5 Cyborgs are more powerful than humans, but because of their bulkiness and slow, stumbling movements, they are not generally more effective than humans in the same role as human infantry (unlike more advanced types), and mainly serve as shock troops or forces for urban combat, where their generally humanoid shape makes them usable in the same places as human infantry, but bearing much heavier armor and weaponry; essentially, they are weapon platforms using a human body merely as a "frame". Additionally, because they lack a will of their own, their loyalty, even in the face of utterly overwhelming enemy forces, is unfaltering.
