The intent here is to get paint on the wall not to make it look pretty 2. * Paint the wall / ceiling / door taking as little time as possible avoiding time consuming parts such as edging 3. * Go around the outside of the painted area with a brush or roller to blend the painted area in if not painting to the edges Mites will die on contact with the paint. Notes: Be careful about the different types of paint, water based and oil based. If unsure then for white surfaces a primer such as taubmans 3 in 1 can be used to good effect. Oil paints take longer to dry. They may be more effective against mites than water based paints. Oil based paints are harder to use. Use a roller if possible. Do not remove a door to paint it. Chock it in place with a piece of wood or folder paper under the bottom of the door to hold it in place while painting and drying. A spray painting device may be useful if you have one. People have noted that spraying just about anything except some knockdowns which desolve or destroy is ineffective against mites. Paint works.
