Because of Berry's timid and shy demeanor she was a constant victim of bullying, and the kids at her old school would bully her almost everyday, even to the point where she would be in tears by the time she came home, or simply cry in the school's bathroom. Even crying in private didn't help her, as the kids from her school would laugh and make fun of her even more. That's when Berry's family decided to move their bakery and transfer her to Tom Wells Middle School, hoping Berry would have a better chance at making friends and to have a fresh start. Berry still currently lives with her family in their bakery.
